Connie Risser
Founder and director of the Joshua Institute which is designed to help students with learning difficulties. Her journey began not only to find out how to help her own children thrive in school, but to help others as well. She is a professionally certified educational therapist with a master’s degree in special education, an instructor for the National Institute for Learning Development, and a coach for educators.

Kirsten Lewis, MS, CCC-SLP
Founder of Reach the Summit Language and Literacy Clinic. As a Speech Language Pathologist, Kirsten recognized that children with verbal speech and language disorders were also demonstrating difficulties learning to read and write. She now specializes in the prevention, early intervention, and remediation of children with written language disorders, and is certified as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist through the Center for Effective Reading Instruction and the International Dyslexia Association.
