October is Dyslexia Awareness Month and Decoding Dyslexia Idaho has partnered with the Idaho CEC (Council for Exceptional Children) for our 4th Annual Dyslexia Awareness Summit!

We're talking everything "DYSLEXIA!"
We will kick-off the conference virtually on Friday, Oct. 7th covering an overview of H731, Dyslexia Legislation which passed unanimously this past legislative session followed by a brief introduction from Dr. Louisa Moats, author of the Idaho State Dyslexia Handbook. And you won't want to miss Keynote Speakers Dr. Jan Hasbrouck and Dr. Nancy Mather in-person on Saturday, Oct. 8th at the West Ada School District offices ~ Followed by 12 Breakout Sessions to choose from covering topics from the Science of Reading, Assessments and Screening, a Dyslexia simulation, assistive technology, the writing revolution, trauma in the classroom and more! This conference has something for everyone! Administrators, classroom teachers, SPED teachers, Paraprofessionals, school nurses, SLP, OT and school counselors ~ Join us! Let's learn and grow in better understanding and supporting our 1 -in- 5 children in our classrooms!

This conference will be hosted virtually on Friday, October 7th, 2022 and your choice of virtual or in-person on Saturday, October 8th, 2022.
